Still in the DC airport and wishing I could hold him again.

Hard on the back but well worth it.

What a great time
Been a while since an update, but April in DC with Quinn seems a good time to start. Can’t believe how much he’s grown in 6 weeks since we saw him last. You can also hope over to my Vimeo site and see some video of him jumping.

While we were back in Washington, DC last month, this is how I spent my Easter Sunday morning. Very sobering and meaningful. They just go on and on….

Spent a wonderful evening last night in Oakland seeing Mark Knopfler as a celebrations of Brinn’s birthday. He is probably my all-time favorite guitarist, so understated, fluid and incredibly melodic. Plus hearing “Romeo and Juliette” (one of the most romantic songs ever written) was a great bonus. The concert took place at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, easily the finest remaining example of art deco theater on the West Coast, if not the entire country. It was a truely fabulous evening – except maybe for the midnight drive home. Here’s some photos from the theatre – unfortunately all I had was the camera phone. But then they say that the best camera is the one you have with you…
